All of my photographer friends can agree – this summer was CRAZY when it came to rescheduling photoshoots! I often feel like my job is full time photographer, part time weather stalker. I live in my weather apps, and I often use 3 separate apps when deciding whether or not a session needs to be rescheduled. I’m a pro at reading the radar, daily and hourly forecasts;) But Kimberly & Andrew’s engagement session? This one reached a record. I’d have to go back and count, but I believe we had to rescehdule due to weather SIX times. Their shoot was first scheduled in June. It didn’t actually happen until October. We did not luck out with weather! I’m hoping all these reschedules mean they’re going to have the most beautifully perfect weather for their December wedding:)
Alas, we made their engagement session happen last week, and it was such a delight spending the evening with these two. They’re sweet as can be, and they make such an amazing pair. Kimberly and Andrew met through Andrew’s sister, who also happened to be Kimberly’s roommate at the time. Over time Andrew started stopping by their place more and more often, just to say “hi”….soon after the two started dating, and the rest is history!
Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session!
The Star Barn was perfectly decorated for fall!
I love how smiley and happy these two are together:)
The grounds of Ironstone Ranch are some of the most gorgeous, immaculate of any other venue I’ve seen:
A perfectly “fall” ring photo was in order:
So sweet!
