Wyatt’s Nursery

Well friends, we are down to the wire. It’s due date month. This time has felt SO far away for so long, but now here we are. Wyatt is due on September 29th, and I’m so anxious to see when he ends up making his arrival! I feel good being able to say that we are all ready. Hospital bags are packed, clothes are put away, and the nursery is ready. Now we wait!

I’m so excited about how his nursery turned out so I figured I’d share it with all of you! I don’t like going overly theme-y for a nursery, so we just went with a grey/blue color scheme. My sister so kindly gave us her old crib, and I love how it turned out after we painted it! It was well worn (toddler teeth marks and all), so we sanded it down and painted it using Lullaby Paint, which is safe to use on any baby/toddler item (where chewing is expected).

We had installed the wood wall (using Stikwood) a few years ago, and it worked perfectly in the nursery!

I adore this little wooden truck, hand-made by my close friend’s husband. It’s the perfect addition to a little boy’s nursery!

I need to swap out the photos in the frames (considering one is Jay and I circa 2007….we were babies!), but I’ll get there!

Everything hanging on the walls was from Hobby Lobby. That store is dangerous – I can easily spend lots of money in there;)

Now all we need is a baby to fill the nursery. Wyatt, we can’t wait to meet you!
