He’s here, he’s here!!! Wyatt was born on Monday, 9/23/19 at 3:57pm. He weighed in at a whopping 9 pounds 7 ounces, and was 22 inches long….a full 2 pounds bigger than when Reagan was born! We are so excited that Wyatt is home with us, and our family is complete. Having kids has been QUITE the ride for Jay and I, but it has all been 100% worth it to have our two healthy kids home with us. It’s going to take me a while to get used to saying I have two kids!
I’m SO happy and relieved to know both Wyatt and Lindsay, our surrogate, are healthy and healing after the delivery. Lindsay’s delivery was incredibly difficult, and I am still in such awe of her, watching what she had to go through to deliver this huge baby boy! She’s an incredibly strong woman, and we love her so much for all that she’s done for us over the past year. It still brings tears to my eyes knowing there are women in this world who will sacrifice and put themselves through so much, just to help another couple bring their children into the world. I’m so insanely grateful to her and my sister, for making our dream of having a family come true. I’ve always wanted two kids, and I feared that might not happen for us. But here we are, and my heart is so full and happy. To anyone else struggling with infertility, just keep pushing! It’s a painful journey, but you WILL get there, some way, some how.
I managed to snag some pictures of our time in the hospital, and my sweet sister captured Reagan meeting Wyatt for the first time!

Jay is SO excited to have a son, and I love seeing him with our little man:)

My perfect, squishy, baby boy!

Well, we managed to get a photo of his “coming home” outfit before he spit up all over it!

Aunt Jess and Izzy came to visit at the hospital, I loved having visitors!

This little guy holds his head up SO well – it’s kind of crazy to see!

Happy<3

Reagan meeting Wyatt was pretty anti-climactic. She was stone faced, and would hardly look at him. I’m sure she didn’t know what to think!

She did eventually ask to hold him….

She liked playing with his fingers for 3 seconds, then she was over it;)

Oh Wyatt, we love you so much more than words can explain! We’re so glad you’re here!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!! What a beautiful, precious family!
