There is something so magical + special about intimate weddings – they’re often some of my favorite weddings I’ve ever shot! And this one is no exception. Kat and Tim planned on having a large center city Philly wedding, but COVID changed their plans. They decided to have a small, 24 person wedding in their home…..with a bigger party to celebrate at a later date, when it’s safe.

I was SO impressed with how they pulled everything together for the wedding in their home – they completely transformed their backyard, and it looked incredible! Kat + Tim had been friends for many, many years before they started dating, and I’m so glad they took that leap to the next level together. They’re an incredible couple, and I just love everything about them. Photographing weddings for a couple where you can truly FEEL that they are meant to be together? It’s the absolute best.

Isn’t she the most beautiful bride? Kat + Tim still chose to get read at Hotel Monaco in center city, so we could go to some iconic Philly spots for their wedding photos.

Kat and Tim planned LOTS of time for photos, so you know I was thrilled! We were able to get a ton of shots of these two:)

After photos in center city, we drove off to their home in Fishtown, and I just loved the set up:

They live streamed their wedding for lots of family and friends, as one does during a global pandemic;)

Does this image not perfectly show our “socially distanced” times? It was completely unprompted. We were getting some photos of Kat + Tim in front of their house, when their neighbors stuck their heads out the door to say hi. I backed up to get this shot, which I feel shows the completely weird times we’re living in now;)

Bride + groom face masks? Of course!

CONGRATS Kat + Tim! You didn’t let COVID stop your wedding, and I thought the day was completely perfect, through and through. It was the most gorgeous wedding, filled with lots of love<3 Hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon!
